Résumé

The third component of the « Analysis of the Trajectories of Young First Nations subject to the Youth Protection Act » uses case-level longitudinal data to understand the scope of First Nations youth over-representation in Quebec’s child welfare system. This report documents and compares the service trajectories of First Nations youth served by child protection with the trajectories of non-First Nations Quebec youth. It also analyzes changes to service trajectories following amendments made to Quebec’s Youth Protection Act in 2007.
